When it came to her wedding dress, Perla envisioned herself as a bohemian bride. Drawn to the idea of a romantically relaxed look and feel, our Amare bride tried on several dresses in search of the vision she had in mind.
It was all over when Perla came across Style B089 from our Catherine Collection. Topped with an illusion bateau neckline, the slim-A-line wedding dress features a dramatically beaded bodice and low-back design. A petite detachable satin belt ties the look together as delicate layers of soft silk chiffon cascade at chapel length.
Captured by the details of the silk chiffon wedding dress, Perla's vision changed from light bohemia to airy elegance. Her heart was immediately stolen the moment she saw herself in the full effect of the delicate, dreamy dress -- and just like that, she said "yes."
Perla continued to include design elements in her modern-chic mansion wedding, flawlessly capturing the best of both worlds.
Her wedding details included floor-length emerald bridesmaid dresses and fresh white floral bouquets, offset by the cream and caramel color palette of her wedding decor. Meanwhile, the breathtaking architecture and gardens of a private mansion in Fort Worth, TX created a stately, yet cozy environment, naturally whisking guests away to a romantic state of mind.
Perla knew she had found her soul mate as the couple effortlessly grew together through the stages of courtship, to engagement, then finally tying the knot.
"There is no one else we would rather be with than with each other," Perla shared.
"My husband is a thoughtful and creative man. He wrote lyrics to a song about us, created the beat, and performed it live with a surprise band made up of some friends he got together to learn his original song. That was our first dance song. That will always be one of my favorite moments."
When it comes to wedding planning, Pearla's bridal advice is all about creating the perfect environment for your guests: "Keep it simple and organic. Use plants and already decorated gardens to create a warm environment for yourself and the guest (who will most likely be the closest people to you). It will make everyone feel relaxed and at home."
